Political commentators whether in the newspapers or television, Paxman or Dimbelby or politicians like Bush or Blair will not in any great measure further political progress? In fact, most of all the well-known pundits or politicians are always in danger of censorship. This is normal and part of the game. There is no right or wrong in life only what is evidently so. If the world is in a mess, man has created it. It has never been an act of God, always the act of men. Our system of “better than” and the “survival of the fittest” will mostly always allow the narcissistic people to rise to the top in every organization. This cannot be disputed because the evidence is everywhere to be seen. My way is the only way to change this.

taxpayers money-the truth

the first time in human history we need not rely on the spoken word of our political representatives.information is power.we need only demand that all taxpayers money when spent goes immediately online. this would become our first tangible truth connecting our money with policy. this will remove fear from the political system allowing people with integrity to step forward promoting real solutions for local and global issues. Nothing is more important than this change to the political system. Conversation on any level can be based on evidential truth accessible to everyone.

A Political & Social Analysis by Gino Risoli

My campaign in the Senatorial Elections by definition was not a success, but it was a personal success for me. I had accumulated more than one thousand votes mainly from people who did not know me, but understood my message. In the experience l made many friends and learned many good lessons. Humanity is facing its most important moment. You only have to open a daily paper to know that things are terribly wrong in the world. Jersey is not excluded from the effects of global Politics. In fact in many ways it is at its centre.
Many people do not have a sense of who they are or what life is about. The world as we know it is becoming more and more materialistic driven by corporations whose only motive is profit; they have their own energy, which is unstoppable. Now looking to China and India to spread the dream. There is only one problem here. The ecology will not sustain it. However, who will stop the corporate train. The answer is NO ONE save you or l. Year on year individuals and corporations grow in stature while the poor are getting poorer. Corporate taxes are falling while national governments have to impose a General Service Tax to survive yet Corporations who make there money from peoples are very mobile and will disappear to better havens offering better deals at a whim.
When considering political and social objectives, how deeply do we consider what it is we hope to achieve? The sponsoring or the original thought to a particular objective is a very powerful statement of the mind. For instance if you consider the economic security of the Island being the most important objective, then your sponsoring thought which underpins your thinking will take little account of any other criteria while progressing your objective. This could mean putting your eggs in one basket for the economy as an example or paying little regard to the socioeconomic consequences of the policy. Short-term fine, long term could be problematic. Therefore setting the original intention is profoundly important. Misunderstanding the subtleties of the human mind leaves one at an enormous disadvantage but the understanding of which could pay huge dividends. Of course this understanding could have a profound effect in ones personal life.
The events of 9-11 and the London bombings are an indication that the world is becoming a risky place to live. Look at these statistics. Collectively the world spends $900 billion a year on defense. It spends $57 billion a year on aid. Two hundred and twenty five people have more money than three billion people do.Now that is almost half the world population while Fifty five thousand people a day dies of starvation. Collectively governments and others are responsible for this. All in our name. What could produce a behaviour system by our leaders to allow such tragic circumstances to exist? One of the answers is that we of course elect our leaders therefore; ultimately, it is down to us. You may not find this interesting, but that would be a mistake. Many people through out the world are choosing to form groups to address what they see are the injustices in the world. We call these people terrorists. You see, the problem today is that the civil are not organized but the organized are not civil. 9-11 or the London bombings could be the tip of the iceberg.
Civilization has sought to use behaviour to control behaviour. We have known for a very long time that this is not possible. Albert Einstein said that you cannot resolve problems at the level in which it has occurred.We have tried Political economic and military means. All have failed. The very first thing to do is to understand what underpins such profound and dangerous behaviour by our world leaders. Beliefs create behaviour we know this. Therefore, the answer to the problem lays in the world belief systems. Instead of looking at the resultant behaviour, look at cause of behaviour. Now the extraordinary thing is that while socio-economic advances have happened over time the theology that underpins peoples belief systems have not changed for centuries. This is quite amazing since it holds the key to world behaviour. We know that religion and politics are completely entwined. Peoples kill each other even today using their long held beliefs as justification. There are more than 200 organized religions all telling us that this is the way to God. Which religion is right? Who can say? Because society tells us that what people believe is there own business, it becomes a no go area. Certainly, in politics to question a religious belief would cost you votes. However, here it is, religious beliefs play a huge part in peoples behaviour because religion underpins beliefs which in turn results in behaviour. So let us take a close look at organized religions. A clue lays in people’s behaviour. Peoples lives are based on their values and their values are based on there deepest understanding of life and there deepest understandings about life are based on their cultural stories. People in the world think that they are separate from each other. Therefore, we act as if we are separate. In Christian theology, we have the Adam and Eve story. Adam ate of the fruit and made God angry. Adam separated himself from God. This story was written by old theologians in an attempt to explain why things were not going right in the world. Man separated himself from God which explains why man separated himself from man. It sounds ludicrously simple. Nevertheless, it is part of the problem. From this moment as a species, we have made each other separate from God where once we were one with God. As we now considered ourselves separate, we must now compete for the stuff of life, where once there was enough for all. On this premise, the world believes that we have to compete for the stuff of which there is not enough. We teach this from an early age. Inadvertently we teach “better than” in our schools. We have hierarchies in our governments and our industries. “Better than” and “the survival of the fittest” is taught on every level of society. Fairness is driven far from any reality that could be measured on a global scale. The truth is, there is enough; there is enough stuff of life for everyone. With today’s technology and computer, generated organization there is more than enough stuff to go around. What we need is co-operation and organization based on what works. To get to this place the answer is excruciatingly simple! If we just for a moment could concede that the idea of separateness in our cultural stories of most religions was perhaps misplaced everything could change. If we could concede that, we are not separate on any level we would allow truth to prevail in our civilization. The idea that anything is separate is not possible. Psychology and science absolutely explain cause and effect. Everything is intrinsically connected.
Truth is all that is required. Philosophers from Jesus Christ to Mohamed to the Buda to William Shakespeare and Albert Einstein have given us these very messages so many times. Worlds religious leaders have for reasons best known to themselves have sought not to take a new look at their theologies. It is a great pity, as doing so could help unite religions and societies.

Local politics or world politics is a sum total of the collective consciousness. If the world is in a mess it is because we are in a mess. There is only one way to resolve this. We have as a society to pursue truth. It is of course possible to live our own truths as individuals and many do, but how amazing life would be if we could only find the courage to live authentically together. Jersey has a unique opportunity to develop something truly special. We are a small Island which makes it possible to work closely together. Every one has an important role to play. It could be our greatest moment of our life story. I truly believe Jersey has the potential to change the course of politics on a global scale. We need only set the example of what good government could achieve. All that is needed is to allow truth to forge our future. Some of you are particularly well placed with influence and good judgment to steer a course. As a collective if, we were to pursue truth with our government many of life’s problems would simply evaporate. When one door opens to a truth, another door opens to another truth. Slowly without the need to impair a single person company or corporation, work together and create this miracle. The result would be an immense proliferation of new and imaginative thinking and self-expression resulting in Jersey being a very special place to be. These changes in Jersey could become something so extraordinary that l would have difficulty in imagining the potential outcome in even a short space of time. New parameters could be set that would make Jersey’s financial and commercial operations the envy of the world. Social justice would become second nature. Every authority as well as every sector would strive for new heights in the quest for goodness beauty and truth.

In my Senatorial election campaign l had too much to say and so little time to say it. I suggested that we should look at our taxpayer’s money as a beginning which would then lead to truths on many levels? It is entirely possible through today’s technology to know how our government spends every penny. So let us start here. Not as a witch hunt but as a recognition that people want answers. Let us start with this truth so that slowly but surely we could come to the most profound truth of all. Scientifically we cannot think say nor do anything without affecting another. Our purpose as creators of our own destiny is to experience the grandest version of who we think we are in the experience of relativity. You cannot love hot and not cold, you cannot have tall without short, thin without fat good without bad love without fear. It is all Gods creation for relativity to work. Relativity is for this world. Yet all there is in reality is Love. That is who we are. Your soul understands this. Feelings are the language of the soul. Follow your soul, you will never be disappointed. Life here is a leasehold experience. When you die, your spirit, which is who you are, simply goes home. Therefore there is nothing to fear than fear itself. So let’s make this chapter in Jersey’s history the most memorable. Our purpose in life is to experience. We currently have our sights set to low in our vision for the future and in our own capabilities.
